What to expect with james

Therapy can be whatever you make it, as in what you put into therapy you get out.  The sessions are client focused so the process is determined by the client.  It is important to choose someone that you feel is a good fit for yourself.  You will work with therapist to set your own goals as the therapist is a guide to help you find solutions that best fits you using researched based tools and experience.  You are your best expert and the therapist helps you discover new solutions or strengthen current ones to assist your growth.   

You only talk about or reveal what you want to discuss.  It is important you can trust and feel comfortable with your therapist before doing so.  We encourage an open and welcoming environment without the worry of feeling judged or vulnerable.   

The therapist’s main goal in therapy is to help guide client in being able to implement interventions and growth during the process to the outside world.  Essentially, we work to help you become independent and confident outside of therapy.
